Beautiful statement piece of furniture. Large Almirah/cupboard with original antique teak doors. The carcass is made from reclaimed Indian wood (material unknown) The age of the doors is unknown in our estimation 80+. This cupboard would make great storage in any room of the house (providing you can get this up the stairs!) It has an iron loop handle on each door and a chain at the top, as well as peg fasteners to the top and bottom of the door to avoid it swinging open [NB the doors are very heavy and care must be exercised when opening the cupboard which could fall forward if not fastened to the wall]. The distressed paint finish, ornate carvings and original clenched nails on the inside of the door add to its attractive rustic look.
